Letter from China Futures Museum

Dear Friends,

This letter will beirfyou the progress that the China Futures Museum (i.e., the Museum) has accomplishedin the first half of 2021 and the goals for the second half of 2021. Thepurpose of this letter is to inform you the operation of the China FuturesMuseum.

In the blink of an eye,the first half of 2021 has passed. In the first half of this year, ChinaFutures Museum has accomplished the following tasks.

First, the Museum has set up the column of"series of stories by hard-boiled futures professionals with 30-yearexperience ". Since April,through the WeChat public platform (ZGQHBWG), the museum has released 17 stories.On April 21, Tencent News bulk media reprinted the story about Fengyuancompany. The official account of China Futures Museum has been clicked nearly1,000 times and attracted more attention from netizens.

Second, the Museum has improved the continuity ofinformation release, and stabilized the professional customer base. We set up thecolumn of "historical..." through WeChat circle of friends. SinceMarch 10, 2021, the column has continuously provided more than 100 historicalmaterials or pictures, which has received friends' thumb up and attention. Inthe second half of the year during the holidays, the China Futures Museum wouldlike to send its best wishes to netizens and express its gratitude to friendsat home and abroad for their support and attention to the Museum.

Third, the Museum has began to receive visitors whilecontinuously making improvements. After six months of hard work, the main exhibition room of themuseum is getting ready for visitors. Up to now, we have received over tenpeople, including pioneers of the futures market, leaders of futures firms, financeand economics scholars, as well as people interested in the futures industry.They showed great interest in the Museum. The visitors not only learned aboutthe operation of the Museum, but also put forward some constructive suggestionsand left good wishes to the Museum.

Forth, we have discussed with futures firms aboutcarrying out joint construction activities in the futures industry. On theafternoon of June 9th, the Yongan futures firm visited the Museum. In thediscussion, the main task of China Futures Museum is to guide and serviceindustry and take history as a mirror to walk a bright road forever. Lookingback on the past, looking forward to the future, facing the future open andinternational futures market of our country, we must first continue to adhereto the road of developing the socialist futures market and serve the realeconomy wholeheartedly. Second, we must insist on seeking truth from facts,proceed from reality, and test and improve various management systems inpractice. Third, we must adhere to standardized development and continue toexplore and innovate. Through these activities, we have not only strengthenedthe confidence to do our own work well, but also carried forward thedemonstrative, exploratory and creative "futures spirit", with thebest working state and excellent performance, for the 100th anniversary of thefounding of the Communist Party of China!

Fifth, the Museum received donations fromenthusiastic people. First, the China Futures Museum will receive the first order fromTerrence F. Martell, director of the Weisman Center for International Businessat the City University of New York and a distinguished professor at SaksFinance. Souvenir donated by Mr. Director, Weissman Centerfor InternationalBusiness, Saxe Distinguished Professor of Finance...... Second, China FuturesMuseum received 26 pieces of materials, including completion certificate ofHenan Futures Training Center, qualification certificate of futures industrypractitioners, temporary certificate of CZCE market representative andcertificate of attendance of the second training class of Henan FuturesTraining Center, from senior futures personnel. Third, the China Futures Museumreceived the donation of "the Trader Certificate of Suzhou CommodityExchange, the Trader Certificate of China Rural Development Trust andInvestment Corporation Shanghai Zhongnongxin Brokerage Company Suzhou CommodityExchange, and the qualification certificate" submitted by another seniorfutures person. Fourth, the China Futures Museum received two "Han Dynastypottery POTS" from the founder of the futures market, one opening bell andfour screen woodcuts. The China Futures Museum issued "donationcertificates" to some of the enthusiastic and dedicated donors. Alldonated materials and items have been registered for collection.

Sixth, China Futures Museum donated gift books tothe enthusiastic internet friends. In response to the enthusiastic attention and donations from thesociety and the industry, the China Futures Museum donated more than 20 volumesof books to the leaders and professionals of the China Futures IndustryAssociation and the Capital Market Institute, futures companies and investors,as well as enthusiastic members of the media. We will always  take actions to benefit the public.

Seventh, we recently launched the “Beauty Article”,taking different forms to attract the attention of netizens. We choose the classic articles in the futures industry– ”latemaxim”, coupled with pictures and audio reading, which will help improve interestand attract the attention of netizens.

In 2020, on the occasionof the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China's futures market, we havereceived messages from influential international friends who made contributionsto China's futures market in the early days. They not only congratulated us onthe successful establishment of the China Futures Museum, but also hoped thatthey would come to Zhengzhou to visit the museum, so we set up the physicalmuseum. Since the beginning of this year, we have focused on the physicalmuseum site selection, exhibition arrangement and other infrastructure.

The Museum's main goals for the second half ofthe year:

Since the beginning ofits operation, the physical museum has received attention from netizens andfriends, especially the praise from international friends. In the second halfof the year, we need to overcome the low amount of readers and attention,circle of friends influence is very limited. The study of important historicalissues has not caught up. Documents and articles have not yet been classifiedand registered. Reception capacity to be improved and other issues.

On the basis of theoriginal work, continue to do a good job related columns, focus on thefollowing works.

First, we will work onopening more showrooms. In addition to improving the main exhibition hall, weplan to open another exhibition room, continue to create conditions, do a goodjob in the infrastructure and exhibition arrangement of the other fiveexhibition rooms, and strive to complete one or two exhibition rooms in thesecond half of the year, and officially exhibit each as soon as possible. Wewill continue to improve the construction of museums and the quality ofvisitors and enhance the reception capacity of museums.

Second, we will strengthenexternal liaisons and establish cooperative relations. We will choose suitablecooperative institutions and people with lofty ideals to jointly develop andmanage the China Futures Museum.

Third, we will strengthenpublicity and give full play to the role of museums through speeches anddifferent media channels. Strive for pictures and texts, various forms,increase the typicality of the text, including the content of the columndubbing, etc. For example, hold some salon activities and discuss somehistorical issues.

Fourth, we will improvethe donation system, collecting more historical items and information.

Fifth, we will continuethe work to sort out historical data.
